Amazon Prime $2.5 Billion Settlement 2026 — Are You Eligible to Claim Up to $51?

Amazon has agreed to a $2.5 billion class action settlement 2026 with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over allegations that the company enrolled millions of customers in Amazon Prime without clear consent and made cancellation intentionally difficult. If you were an Amazon Prime subscriber between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025, you may be eligible to receive up to $51.

Who Qualifies?

You may be eligible if you:

• Signed up for Amazon Prime between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025
• Enrolled through a checkout page, shipping selection page, or Prime Video enrollment flow
• Used three or fewer Prime benefits (like Prime Video or Prime Music) in any 12-month period after enrolling
• Attempted to cancel your Prime membership but were unable to do so

Amazon will determine whether you enrolled through a qualifying flow — you do not need to figure that out yourself.

How Much Will You Get?

Eligible claimants will receive a refund of their Prime membership fees, up to a maximum of $51. Payments are expected to go out in late 2026.

Claim Deadline

The deadline to file a claim is July 27, 2026. If you received a notice by email or mail with a Claim ID and PIN, use that to file at SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com. You can also file without a Claim ID.
